What Are TKT Glossary Terms?

TKT has a list of ELT terms known as the TKT Glossary. Knowing these terms is important for TKTiers. Understanding these terms helps teachers communicate better, plan lessons effectively, and understand basic language teaching ideas. By learning these terms, teachers can handle classroom challenges confidently, engage students better, and create a smooth learning environment.

How to Study These Glossary Terms?

The TKT glossary terms are listed alphabetically, just like in the official TKT Glossary. Click on a letter to see terms starting with that letter.

After studying a lesson, review all the terms and their explanations from that lesson.

Create flashcards using 3 x 5 inch paper. Write the word on one side and its meaning on the other.

Test your knowledge by trying to define the word when you see it, and by trying to identify the word when you see its definition.

Ensure you know all the terms perfectly.
